ABOUT
Karin Lustenberger is a media artist, performer, curator, cultural educator, and care activist based in Basel.
In her artistic work, she explores the generative potential of her concrete environment through audiovisual methods. Using structures, systems, and chance, she constructs moving processes of perception. Through performance, installation, and multimedia, she combines camera, sound, space, robotics, data, and observation to create reflective perspectives and exploratory experiences.
In addition to her artistic practice, she has curated numerous interdisciplinary projects and is committed to equality and sustainability in cultural and technological transformation processes. Her focus is on social gaps in posthumanist discourses and feminist work structures. Since 2022, she has been part of the core team of the art+care network Switzerland.
